tap, Tap, TAP!

After many years of trying to find the thing that Grace LOVES to do.. I think we hit the spot this year!



We've Tried Swimming...





We WILL ALWAYS DO Piano...





We've done Gymnastics...



BUT nothing makes Grace's face light up like Wednesday afternoons - knowing that Tap Class is right after school!  

She has also learned the life trick of changing her clothes in the car! Her class starts 20 minutes after school gets out and it takes 15-20 to reach her "dance studio" so she has had to adjust to stripping and dressing in motion!  After week two, she has almost perfected it! 

I have to admit that she is a busy girl with Spectrum, Dance, Piano and Activity Days - but she is a multi tasker and seems to thrive on FULL SPEED ahead!  Luckily, I am able to be a stay-at home momma, so I am available to enter into the next phase of my life - BUS DRIVER.  Good think I love this girl!  :)

Grace's Baptism:

What an AMAZING day!  On Saturday, September 18th, Grace was baptised a member of the Church of Jesus Chirst of Latter-Day Saints.  I can not express the love and spirit that we shared on this special day.  I am a very proud mom of a very smart, beautiful and wonderful young lady.  We were blessed enough to have our baptismal service a private affair where it was just Grace being baptised.  It was a beautiful day that we will remember forever.  The love we felt that day from our family and friends was uncomparable and we so appreciate all of you who travel near and far to be with us!  It meant the world!  We are so happy that she made this choice and that we are this much closer to be being a forever family. 

GRACE 1st day of 3rd Grade!

Grace started THIRD GRADE this year! We are SO VERY EXCITED! As most of you know, we have been battling to have her moved into a class of her peers! FINALLY we have been blessed to have her skip second grade and also be put into the Spectrum Program! I am so proud of her!  She went to school in style her very first day, wearing the adorable outfit her Nana got for her on their annual Back to School shopping trip!  We are so lucky!  Check out the backpack with all her school supplies.. I was worried she would topple over.. but she managed just fine!  She is an amazing girl and we are so excited for her and the year that we will experience!!

Circle Round Up!

Well, we didn't think this day would ever come.. BUT IT HAS!  Ava is now a turtle backpack packing girl and goes to school every Monday and Wednesday from 9am - 11:30 am!

Celebatory Ice Cream - Fries are so good dipped in Ice Cream!

  She is a little hesitant but as soon as mom and dad vacate the premises.. she acclamates well.  We are so thrilled for her and very thankful for Ms. Whitney (her teacher) and for the other Special Education Professionals that are trained and understand her delays and needs.  We are very hopeful for a great year!!



GRACE 8TH BIRTHDAY PARTY:



  At our house we celebrate birthdays every year of course, but we celebrate BIG on the 8th, 12th, 16th, and 18th bithdays!  This year we took Grace and her friends to the LIVING PLANET AQUARIUM in Sandy, Utah!!  The Living Planet Aquarium is an ideal space for birthday parties - they have a  replica of an 1830´s sunken ship is that is where the actual party was held - cake and all the soda pop they could drink!  They also were sent on a treasure hunt throughout the aquarium and were able to find the hidden treasure!  She had a great time and I have to say it was wonderful not having the clean up afterward!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRACE!
